Ohio State Moves Down 5 Spots to #18 in AP Poll: Feb 18th, 2013

Virginia Commonwealth is ranked #24 in the AP Top 25 poll this week, and is the only newcomer. Kansas got the biggest lift for the week, moving up five spots to #9.

Indiana holds steady at the top for the second straight week. Virginia Commonwealth enters the Top 25 with a win at home over Massachusetts, 86-68 and a win at home over George Washington, 84-57. Kentucky falls out of the rankings this week with a loss at then-7th ranked Florida, 69-52 and an upset loss at Tennessee, 88-58.

Kansas got a big boost this week, soaring five spots to #9 after an upset win at home over then-10th ranked Kansas State, 83-62 and a win at home over Texas, 73-47. Ohio State tanked five spots to #18 after a win against Northwestern, 69-59 and a loss to then-20th ranked Wisconsin, 71-49. Michigan State jumped up 4 spots to #4 after wins against Nebraska, 73-64 and then-4th ranked Michigan, 75-52.
